How many parents/guardians/students like eating a pizza with tomato sauce? How many people like eating potatoes with your meal? Now tell me this, what would the holiday season be without Turkey? Or how about popcorn at the movies or just as a snack at home? The question is, “what do tomatoes, potatoes, turkey, and popcorn have in common?” You are absolutely correct! They all originate in the Americas. The middle/high school Geography classes is focusing on the Physical and Human Geography of Central and South America

We are studying about how landforms and water systems affected the settlement of the region. We are also studying about the Columbian Exchange and how that process shaped the culture not only in the Americas but of the rest of the world. We are on an exciting journey!
