College Counseling Corner

As the College Counselor, I have had the opportunity to speak to all the 10^th, 11^th and 12^th graders and have to mention that I have been very impressed with the level of dedication that is present in our students. The fields of interest span a wide range of professions ranging from veterinary medicine to aeronautical engineering. I continue to encourage the students to reach for their goals while focusing them on the importance of their attendance, grades and GPA.  During the past few weeks many of our seniors have received their letters of acceptance and I am pleased to say that all of them have come from highly regarded universities. These letters are testament to the dedication of our students as well as the quality of education they receive here at Noblesse International School. Through the dedication of the teachers and the high level of academics we offer here at NIS, our students have been able to start their post secondary education on firm ground and make their way towards realizing their dreams.

In the coming months I will be inviting several universities to come and visit us so that our students have the opportunity to speak directly to enrollment officers. This will be a great opportunity for students to speak to a representative that can answer all their inquiries about enrolment, educational expectations and student life. Through these face to face encounters it is my hope that students will realize the vast options that are available to them and gather a clear picture of what to expect when they leave the Philippines and head off around the world.
